HOW IT WORKS
OVERVIEW
Offscreen Resources (f/k/a We Are Boosters) was founded in 2020 as a centralized hub for influencer marketing freelancers. As the community grew and some members took full-time jobs, it evolved into a niche placements business for freelance and full-time professionals throughout the Creator Economy.
Our system for matching professionals in the space with opportunities is rooted in deep understanding of the nuances required for each role. These considerations include company type, size, structure, culture, vertical, and practical skills needed.
CONSULT
The first step is to align on parameters such as timing, level of experience, preferred background, and target budget. Clients either give us a job description and share exactly what they have in mind, or we collaborate on developing a scope.
MATCH
Based on client criteria, we submit qualified, interested, and available professionals for consideration, 100% commitment-free. Our system is so precise that typically clients will hire at least one of three recommended candidates.
SELECT
Clients let us know which candidates they're interested in meeting with, and within minutes we facilitate a direct introduction.
HIRE
Clients are free to set up one or multiple meetings with professionals to ensure they are the right fit. Upon deciding to make an offer, they do so freely and can directly negotiate and finalize scope with each professional.

FOUNDER
Meredith Jacobson is an Influencer Marketing Strategist, Business Advisor, and Entrepreneur.
After years working in television production and for influencer agencies, Meredith launched her own consulting business in 2019. Realizing a lack of resources available for freelancers in the influencer marketing industry, she founded We Are Boosters in 2020, facilitating opportunities for collaboration, mentorship, and lead generation amongst her peers.
As the community and demand for freelance and full-time professionals grew, Meredith launched a white glove matching service as an extension of the We Are Boosters community. In 2024, Meredith expanded both businesses by splitting them into two entities: the matching service (Offscreen Resources) and the community (Work Friends).
